QR Codes + Photo Backgrounds

This page helps you get the best sticker result before ordering from QR Sticker Plug.

For every custom sticker, you may need to upload:

  • Your photo

  • Your Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or other payment QR code

Use clear, high-quality uploads so your sticker looks good and your QR code scans properly.

How To Find Your Payment QR Code

Your QR Sticker Plug design needs a clear payment QR code so people can scan your sticker and send money.

Before uploading, make sure your QR code is clear, bright, uncropped, and easy to scan.

Cash App QR Code

  1. Open the Cash App on your phone.

  2. Tap your profile icon or account icon.

  3. Look for your Cash App QR code or $Cashtag QR code.

  4. Take a screenshot or save/share the QR code image.

  5. Upload that image when ordering your sticker.

Tip: Make sure your $Cashtag is correct before uploading.

Venmo QR Code

  1. Open the Venmo app.

  2. Go to the Me tab.

  3. Tap the QR code button on your profile picture.

  4. Tap Venmo me.

  5. Save, share, or screenshot your Venmo QR code.

  6. Upload that image when ordering your sticker.

PayPal QR Code

  1. Open PayPal.

  2. Look for your PayPal QR code, PayPal.Me link, or seller profile QR code.

  3. Save, screenshot, or download the QR code.

  4. Upload the QR image when ordering your sticker.

Zelle

Zelle does not always offer a simple public QR code the same way Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal do.

If your bank app gives you a Zelle QR code, you can upload it. If not, use Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal for the best sticker experience.

QR Code Upload Tips

Use a clean screenshot or downloaded QR image.

Do not upload a blurry photo of your screen.

Do not crop off the edges of the QR code.

Do not cover the QR code with stickers, text, emojis, or filters.

Test your QR code with another phone before uploading.

If the QR code does not scan before you upload it, it probably will not scan on the printed sticker.

How To Remove The Background From Your Photo

Want your sticker to look cleaner? Remove the background from your photo before uploading it.

This works best for face photos, pet photos, graduation photos, event pictures, and profile-style images.

iPhone Background Remove

  1. Open your photo on your iPhone.

  2. Press and hold the person, pet, or object in the photo.

  3. Tap Copy, Share, or Add Sticker.

  4. Save the cutout image if possible.

  5. Upload that image when ordering your sticker.

Tip: Use a clear photo with good lighting.

Android / Samsung Gallery

  1. Open the photo in your Gallery app.

  2. Press and hold the person, pet, or object.

  3. If your phone supports it, choose Save as image, Copy, or Create sticker.

  4. Upload the saved cutout to your order.

Some Android and Samsung phones have built-in object cutout tools.

Canva

  1. Open Canva.

  2. Upload your photo.

  3. Select the photo.

  4. Use Background Remover.

  5. Download the image as a PNG.

  6. Upload the PNG when ordering your sticker.

Remove.bg

  1. Go to remove.bg.

  2. Upload your photo.

  3. Let it remove the background.

  4. Download the PNG.

  5. Upload the PNG when ordering your sticker.

Adobe Express

  1. Go to Adobe Express background remover.

  2. Upload your photo.

  3. Let Adobe remove the background.

  4. Download the finished PNG.

  5. Upload the PNG when ordering your sticker.

Photoroom

  1. Open Photoroom.

  2. Upload your photo.

  3. Use the background remover tool.

  4. Download the cutout image.

  5. Upload it to your QR Sticker Plug order.

Photoroom works well for people, pets, products, and profile-style photos.

CapCut

  1. Open CapCut.

  2. Start a new project.

  3. Add your photo.

  4. Use Remove Background or Cutout.

  5. Export the image.

  6. Upload the image when ordering your sticker.

Picsart

  1. Open Picsart.

  2. Upload your photo.

  3. Use the background remover or cutout tool.

  4. Save the image as a PNG if available.

  5. Upload it to your sticker order.

Photopea

  1. Go to Photopea.com.

  2. Open your photo.

  3. Use the selection tools to remove the background.

  4. Export as PNG.

  5. Upload the finished file when ordering your sticker.

Best Upload Tips

Use a clear, bright photo.

Do not use blurry screenshots.

Do not upload a dark photo.

Do not upload a photo where the person, pet, or object is tiny in the frame.

Use a photo where the face, pet, or object is easy to see.

For background-removed photos, upload a PNG file if possible.

PNG files can keep the background transparent. JPG files usually add a solid background back in.

Important

QR Sticker Plug uses your uploaded photo and QR code only to create your custom sticker order.

You are responsible for uploading the correct payment QR code.

We are not responsible for money sent to the wrong account because the wrong QR code was uploaded.

If your QR code is blurry, cropped, expired, or incorrect, it may not scan properly on the final sticker.
